The element system in Genshin Impact is one of the game’s main features. For a long time in players realized that dendro is a new element in the world of Teyvat, but until now, there is no playable Dendro character introduction. Recently, miHoYo gave a hint about their new territory, Sumeru, which will introduce Dendro Element to players.

According to mmorpg (11/7), Sumeru is a new territory to the west of Liyue, and its lush forest and dense foliage is home to one of the features that Genshin Impact players have been waiting for, a new element.

Dendro’s Elements will encapsulate plant-based skills, which in turn will have new interactions with current elements. Players will likely get used to the way the elements have a complementary effect on one another. Dendro will have his own set of reactions aimed at helping players.

Two new reactions will be introduced with Dendro. Bloom and Catalyze. Bloom will occur when players combine Dendro’s abilities with Hydro’s abilities. When mixing two elements, the player will display a recovery effect spawn.

Catalyze is an entirely new reaction, consisting of Dendro and Electric abilities (with the possibility Catalyze might have additional interactions with other elements as well). While there’s no specifics about how Catalyze works, the teaser that appears reveals that this will be a very unique reaction.

Of course, Genshin Impact 3.0 will be one of the biggest updates to the game so far, with new territories, lots of new characters and new elements complete with some fresh reactions to change the way people play the game.

It’s nice to see that miHoYo is still evolving with an aggressive update schedule to keep players invested in this popular cross-platform action RPG.

You can play on mobile, PC, or PlayStation, and the game has even been added to GeForce Now! Currently, there is no scheduled release date for Genshin Impact 3.0, but with lots of new information being leaked every week, another announcement wouldn’t be too far away.
