The official Tomb Raider account on X has prompted speculation among fans about a possible remaster of three mid-2000s titles in the long-running franchise: Tomb Raider: Legend (2006), Tomb Raider: Anniversary (2007) and Tomb Raider: Underworld (2008).

The posts come after Crystal Dynamics released remastered versions of the first six Tomb Raider games in recent years. The three later titles remain popular with players but have not yet received updated editions.

In a recent post, the Tomb Raider account highlighted Lara Croft’s evolution between Legend and Underworld, noting that her character design earned a Guinness World Record in 2010 for the “Most Detailed Video Game Character.” The post has been seen by fans as a possible teaser.

Some players also pointed to in-game loading screens in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered that appear to be inspired by the trilogy, while others referenced a recent announcement of a Tomb Raider: Underworld figurine. “It feels like the trilogy is being teased,” one fan wrote on Reddit.

While no confirmation has been provided by Crystal Dynamics, some in the community speculate a potential remaster could arrive in early 2026, based on the timing of the franchise’s previous releases. However, the company has not made any official announcements, and fans are treating the possibility cautiously.
