Saber Interactive has broken a long silence on its upcoming title Jurassic Park: Survival, unveiling a behind-the-scenes video two years after the game’s initial announcement.

The project, first revealed at The Game Awards in 2023, had since remained absent from public view. The new footage outlines how the studio is designing the first-person narrative experience, which combines elements of exploration, horror and survival.

Set in the immediate aftermath of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film, the story follows Maya Joshi, a scientist recruited by geneticist Dr. Henry Wu. Players will return to Isla Nublar, navigating research facilities and jungle environments while avoiding predatory dinosaurs.

Developers said they aimed to recreate iconic moments from the franchise. “The teams of Saber Interactive did not hesitate to highlight mythical scenes, like the velociraptors in kitchens or the sequence with the dilophosaurus,” according to the update.

The creatures have been designed to remain faithful to their cinematic depictions, with the goal of heightening immersion for players familiar with the original film.

While the video offers the first meaningful insight into the project, key details remain under wraps. No release date has been set, and the studio has not confirmed whether additional information will be disclosed at Gamescom 2025, which begins next week.
