Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has introduced the iQOO Z11 Turbo, a new mid-range device positioned to deliver performance close to flagship models while keeping prices relatively affordable, with the initial launch focused on the Chinese market.

The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and paired with a large-capacity battery of more than 7,000 mAh, a combination aimed at users who prioritize performance and endurance, including mobile gaming enthusiasts.

Vivo has equipped the iQOO Z11 Turbo with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display offering a 144-hertz refresh rate, high-frequency PWM dimming and a peak HDR brightness of up to 5,000 nits. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display.

For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel main sensor, supported by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while a 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. The absence of a telephoto lens reflects a design trade-off to control costs.

Despite its relatively slim and compact build, the smartphone houses a large battery that supports wired fast charging of up to 100 watts via USB-C, though it does not offer wireless charging. The chassis is also rated as water-resistant.

Pricing in China starts at the equivalent of about $344 for the base configuration with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, while the highest-end version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at around $530.
