VOID Interactive has postponed the U.S. physical release of its tactical shooter Ready or Not to September 26, 2025, pushing back plans for collectors awaiting the boxed edition. The European launch is still scheduled to go ahead on August 8 as originally planned.
The delay, announced through the developer’s official X account, affects console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. While no specific reason was provided, the company noted it needed additional time to prepare the physical editions for retail.

Ready or Not launched digitally for consoles on July 15 and has since sold over 2 million copies across platforms. The game initially entered Early Access on Steam in December 2021 before its full release in December 2023. Lifetime sales have surpassed 11 million units.
Despite strong sales, the console release drew mixed feedback due to content modifications made to comply with Sony and Microsoft’s certification requirements. Removed elements included depictions of child endangerment, nudity, and torture. These changes also affected the PC version, prompting a wave of negative user reviews.
According to SteamDB, Ready or Not maintains a “Very Positive” rating, with more than 215,000 positive reviews out of nearly 284,000 total submissions. The title remains one of the top-rated tactical FPS games in the digital market.
The game is currently available in digital form with a Standard Edition priced at $49.99 and a Deluxe Edition at $69.99, which includes additional downloadable content and weapons. Physical edition enthusiasts in the U.S. may choose to import the game from European retailers, where availability is expected on schedule.
