The role-playing game (RPG) is certain to be visiting smartphone users in the near future. This exciting news was confirmed directly by as the developer.

Through its annual financial report announced last February 3, Activision Blizzard officially revealed the presence of the Warcraft game for and platforms.

According to Activision’s official website, Tuesday (8/2/2022), the current Warcraft has entered the development stage and is confirmed to launch in 2022.

“Blizzard is planning new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences in World of Warcraft and Heathstone, as well as bringing the new Warcraft experience to the mobile platform for the first time,” wrote Activision Blizzard.

However, the game studio based in Santa Monica, California has yet to reveal the details of the game clearly.

It is still not known exactly how the storyline, gameplay, and genre will be brought.

It is possible that Warcraft mobile will carry a number of elements similar to the PC version, only packaged and adapted to the experience of playing on a smartphone.

Besides Warcraft, Activision Blizzard also mentioned the Diablo mobile game which is also planned to be released in 2022.

The news of the arrival of Diablo mobile itself has been heard since 2018. However, the game which originally carried the title Diablo Immortal was never released, even though its name was already posted on the Google and Apps Store.

“Blizzard is making rapid progress, including new experiences in Warcraft, ongoing development in Diablo and Overwatch, and exciting new IPs,” said Activision Blizzard.
