Currently, the development of the WhatsApp “chat history” migration feature between Operating Systems (OS) is entering the stage of refinement.

WhatsApp application developers seem in the near future will produce a new feature that has been eagerly awaited since last year.

Later, WhatsApp users who previously used the Android operating system will be able to move “chat history” easily to devices with Apple’s iOS operating system.

GSM Arena reported on Saturday (22/1/2022), this feature was confirmed after the presence of the WhatsApp beta version 22.2.74 for iOS users.

Migration of “chat history” is not as easy as sending data via Bluetooth, but requires applications that are downloaded on both Android and iOS phones. After that, the data will be transferred via a wired connection or a private Wi-Fi connection.

In comparison, it’s also not as easy as syncing user data using Google Drive or iCloud.

Until now, it is known that only Android phones made by Samsung can transfer conversation history with Apple phones.

The only way is to use a cable from your iPhone to Samsung or use the Samsung SmartSwitch application.
