Last year, Xiaomi entered the foldable phone market by launching the Xiaomi Mix Fold. Now, this Chinese company has planned the launch of their second foldable phone through the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. For this phone, Xiaomi has not revealed any features.
However, a post on Weibo of information obtained by the Digital Chat Station revealed some interesting information regarding the screen and specifications of the upcoming foldable phone. The information reveals that the specifications of the internal screen have high flexibility so that it is more durable.
Reporting from Gizmochina (26/4), the screen is also said to have a very luxurious display with 2K resolution and LTPO technology. This screen design has a high screen-to-body so that it is the same as its predecessor.
It was also revealed that the foldable phone might come with an internal and external display that carries a 120 Hz refresh rate. This is different from the previous model, where the screen was limited to only a 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition, the external screen is slightly curved on one side, and the overall design is relatively thin and light.
It’s worth mentioning that the Weibo post by tipster doesn’t mention the device directly. However, the descriptions and features in the post point directly to the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2.
Previous reports indicated that the foldable phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and runs on top of the Android 12 operating system. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is likely to have a higher battery capacity at 5020 mAh and support for fast charging.
On the other hand, this phone is expected to come with three rear cameras. This configuration will have a 108 MP telephoto camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and finally an 8 MP resolution camera. For selfies, there is a 20 MP front camera.
