Xpeng has launched the Mona L03 SUV in China and Europe, marking the company’s first model to debut simultaneously in both markets.

The compact SUV is available in nine variants in China, priced from 123,800 yuan (US$18,300), while the battery-electric version starts at €35,600 (US$40,770) in Europe. Xpeng plans to introduce the model in 64 overseas markets.

    Dual powertrain strategy

The Mona L03 is offered with both battery-electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) powertrains.

The BEV offers up to 625 km of CLTC range and supports 3C fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% recharge in 19.1 minutes.

The EREV features a 37.2-kWh battery, delivering up to 315 km of electric range and a combined driving range of 1,330 km.

    AI driving and global expansion

All variants feature Xpeng’s Turing AI chip, with higher-end models offering up to 1,500 TOPS of computing power for the company’s VLA 2.0 intelligent driving system.

Overseas versions will also be the first Xpeng vehicles to integrate the Google Maps Auto SDK, supporting navigation and intelligent driving features.

The launch is part of Xpeng’s European expansion strategy, which includes growing its dealership network and charging infrastructure across the region.
