Samsung Electronics announced the selection of 10 global Solve for Tomorrow Ambassador teams, marking the latest phase of its youth-focused corporate citizenship program held in conjunction with preparations for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
The announcement was made during a three-day event in Milan from Feb. 8–10, bringing together students, educators and Olympic stakeholders. The selected teams were drawn from regional Solve for Tomorrow competitions worldwide and evaluated jointly by Samsung and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) based on innovation, scalability and social impact.

The ambassador teams are divided evenly between two focus areas, Sport & Tech and Accessibility & Environment. As part of the program, each team will receive funding and up to two years of continued support from Samsung to help develop prototypes into commercially viable solutions, with five Sport & Tech teams receiving joint backing from Samsung and the IOC.
Samsung said the initiative reflects its broader aim to encourage young people to address real-world challenges through science, technology, engineering and mathematics. During the ceremony, Solve for Tomorrow alumni shared personal experiences on how youth-led innovation can translate into practical social impact.

Samsung Global Marketing President Won-Jin Lee added that the collaboration with the IOC is designed to help young innovators discover their potential while contributing meaningfully to society.
The program will continue with solution exhibitions, innovation workshops and visits to Olympic venues in Milan, offering the ambassadors exposure to global networks in sport, technology and sustainability as the Winter Games approach.
