Acemagic has introduced the N3A, a compact system positioned as a hybrid between a mini PC and a network-attached storage (NAS) device, featuring multiple drive bays and an older-generation AMD processor.
The N3A includes four SATA drive bays capable of housing 3.5-inch hard drives, alongside two M.2 slots designed for NVMe solid-state drives. The company said the configuration allows users to combine high-capacity storage with faster cache or primary storage options, suggesting the system is aimed primarily at home or small-office NAS applications rather than general-purpose computing.
Memory support extends to 64GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, which Acemagic said offers sufficient capacity for heavier workloads. The device is also equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port to facilitate multi-device access and cross-platform file sharing, a key feature for storage-centric setups.
Powering the unit is the AMD Ryzen 7 3750H, a four-core processor from AMD’s older Picasso lineup. While not a recent release, the chip is described as capable of handling everyday computing tasks smoothly and suitable for NAS duties.

Acemagic has not specified whether the N3A will ship with a customized NAS operating system, though it indicated the presence of multiple connectivity options, including a 4K 60Hz display output. Pricing and availability details have yet to be announced, but the company suggested the use of the older processor could allow for an affordable launch.
