Garmin has begun distributing Beta Version 26.03 to users enrolled in its public testing program for several premium smartwatches, including the Garmin Fenix 7 and Garmin Fenix 7 Pro. The update is also available for the Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and Marq Gen 2 series, though the company continues to exclude the Marq Aviator Gen 2 and Tactix 7 from the beta program.
The release marks the second v26.xx firmware in Garmin’s current development cycle and replaces the previous Beta Version 26.02. The company described the latest update as a targeted revision, with a limited number of changes compared with the earlier build.

According to Garmin, Beta Version 26.03 modifies the Upload RAM option so that it appears only when a watch is actively connected to Garmin Connect. While the feature was intended to function that way, the company said the adjustment ensures it is now displayed solely under those conditions.
The update also addresses a bug affecting the Daily Suggested Workout feature, which Garmin said could “occasionally show invalid data for the target type.” The fix is intended to improve the accuracy of training guidance delivered to users.

Garmin said the new firmware is being released as an over-the-air download and has initially been made available to about 20% of beta testers. Users can manually check for updates to bypass the phased rollout, with additional details provided in the company’s forum announcement.
