Tesla has introduced a new all-wheel-drive version of its Tesla Cybertruck at $59,990, roughly half the price of the limited Foundation Series Cyberbeast that launched in late 2023 at $120,000, as the electric vehicle maker looks to stimulate demand for its pickup line.
The newly announced 2026 Dual Motor Cybertruck AWD offers an estimated range of 325 miles and replaces the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration that was discontinued after about five months on the market. The RWD version had been priced at $69,990 before incentives, making it more expensive than the new AWD trim even after applying a federal tax credit.
Tesla’s latest configuration omits certain premium features found in higher-end models, including air suspension, leather seats and 20-inch wheels. However, it retains the 123 kWh battery pack and 800-volt architecture, enabling fast charging performance. The company describes the vehicle as delivering 325 miles of range and positions it as the most affordable Cybertruck to date.
Specifications for the 2026 AWD variant include a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds and payload of 2,006 pounds. It comes equipped with a composite truck bed, L-track cargo rails, an automatic motorized tonneau cover, rear-wheel steering and 18-inch wheels with coil springs and adaptive damping. Some features from earlier trims, such as a rear-seat display and light bar, remain absent.

When Tesla unveiled the high-end Foundation Series Cyberbeast, it said there was an order waiting list worth billions of dollars. It remains unclear whether the lower-priced AWD version will reverse the Cybertruck’s recent sales slowdown, which has seen the model contribute modestly to the company’s overall delivery figures.
