Garmin has reduced the U.S. price of its top-tier Fenix 8 Pro model equipped with a MicroLED display, bringing the premium smartwatch closer in cost to its AMOLED counterparts.
The adjustment comes roughly six months after Garmin introduced the Fenix 8 Pro lineup with an optional MicroLED panel and built-in satellite and cellular connectivity. Since then, the company has expanded the series with models such as the Quatix 8 Pro and faced reports that a Fenix 9 range could launch later this year.

At launch, the 51 mm MicroLED version carried a price tag of $1,999.99, creating an $800 gap compared with similarly sized AMOLED variants. Garmin has now reduced the MicroLED model’s price by $300, lowering it to $1,699.99. By contrast, AMOLED versions remain unchanged, starting at $1,199.99 and rising to $1,299.99 for the 51 mm configuration.
Garmin did not issue a formal announcement regarding the change, and the company has not indicated that the reduction is temporary. Based on current listings, the adjustment appears to be a permanent cut limited to the U.S. market.

The company has not applied a similar reduction in other regions, including Europe and the United Kingdom, where pricing for the MicroLED-equipped variant remains at previous levels.
