Neuralink Moves Incorporation Location Amidst Tesla’s State Transfer Plan

Elon Musk’s brain-chip implant venture, Neuralink, has shifted its location of incorporation from Delaware to Nevada, as reflected in the business records of both states.

This move follows closely after Musk’s announcement regarding Tesla’s plans to seek shareholder approval for a relocation of its state of incorporation to Texas from Delaware. The decision came in response to a judge’s ruling that invalidated Musk’s $56 billion compensation package.

However, the potential transfer of Tesla’s incorporation state could encounter legal obstacles, including potential investor lawsuits, particularly if perceived as a maneuver to secure Musk’s compensation package, legal experts cautioned.

Musk recently revealed that Neuralink had successfully implanted its inaugural brain chip into a human patient, who was reportedly in good recovery following the procedure.

The relocation of Neuralink’s incorporation underscores a strategic shift within Musk’s corporate ventures, amidst ongoing developments and legal considerations surrounding Tesla’s governance and operations.
