The first leaked images of DJI’s next-generation Osmo Pocket suggest the company may be preparing notable upgrades for its compact handheld camera, potentially aimed at convincing current Osmo Pocket 3 users to upgrade.

The photos, shared by well-known drone leaker Igor Bogdanov, appear to show what he described as a “Pocket 4 prototype.” The leak comes weeks after DJI launched its Osmo 360 action camera in late July.

DJI last refreshed the Pocket line almost two years ago with the Osmo Pocket 3, which introduced a rotating OLED display and a larger 1-inch CMOS sensor. Reports earlier this year indicated the Pocket 4 could also feature camera tuning developed in partnership with Hasselblad.

One leaked image appears to show a second camera sensor, although the photo quality makes it difficult to confirm its specifications. Another image, circulated separately by Fixed Focus Digital, indicates that DJI may add a second display. Observers suggest this could act as a subject-facing viewfinder, further distinguishing the new device from its predecessor.

Pricing and release details remain unclear. However, analysts note that DJI typically spaces out launches in its Pocket series by about two years, placing the timing of a new release within expectations.
