Samsung Electronics said it will unveil a refreshed lineup of kitchen appliances at CES 2026, featuring updated versions of its Bespoke AI refrigerator, over-the-range microwave and slide-in range, as it deepens its use of vision-based artificial intelligence in the home.

The South Korean electronics maker said the new products will integrate enhanced AI capabilities developed with Google Gemini and supported by Google Cloud, aiming to simplify everyday kitchen tasks and deliver more personalised user experiences. Samsung plans to demonstrate how computer vision and cloud-based AI can automate food management and appliance interaction.

“In pioneering the application of vision-based AI technology, Samsung has led innovation in the kitchen appliance market,” Jeong Seung Moon, executive vice president and head of the research and development team for Samsung’s digital appliances business, said in a statement. He added that the collaboration with Google Cloud would help the company “reach a new level of innovation” and improve consumer experiences in the year ahead.

A key focus will be the latest Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, which Samsung said will be the first refrigerator to integrate Google Gemini. The upgraded AI Vision system is designed to recognise a broader range of food items, including processed foods without prior registration, and to identify user-labelled containers, making inventory tracking more flexible and accurate.

Samsung will also introduce a Bespoke AI Wine Cellar that uses a camera and AI Vision to identify wine labels, track bottle locations and update its SmartThings AI Wine Manager. The system is designed to help users manage collections, access wine information and receive pairing suggestions based on their inventory.

Alongside the AI features, Samsung said it is refreshing the design of its kitchen lineup with a unified stainless-look aesthetic. New French Door refrigerators, slide-in ranges and over-the-range microwaves will feature slimmer profiles, updated ventilation systems and redesigned controls, as the company seeks to combine automation with a more cohesive kitchen design.
