Clicks has introduced a new keyboard accessory for smartphones that combines physical typing with wireless charging, expanding its product lineup alongside the launch of its first handset, the Clicks Communicator.
The new device, called the Clicks Power Keyboard, is designed to work with any smartphone that supports MagSafe or Qi2 magnetic standards, rather than being limited to specific models. The accessory attaches magnetically to the back of a phone and connects over Bluetooth, allowing users to slide the handset upward to reveal the keyboard and type in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Clicks said the keyboard can be paired with up to three devices simultaneously, including non-phone hardware such as televisions, handheld gaming devices or virtual reality headsets, provided they support Bluetooth. Users can switch between paired devices using a dedicated keyboard shortcut. “As long as the device has Bluetooth, the Clicks Power Keyboard will work with it,” the article said.
Compared with earlier Clicks keyboard cases, the Power Keyboard adds a dedicated number row, a feature aimed at users working with documents or spreadsheets. The revised layout also frees up other keys to accommodate additional symbols, including directional arrows mapped to the W, A, S and D keys.

The accessory also functions as a wireless charging power bank, with a 2,150 mAh battery, part of which is reserved for powering the keyboard itself. Charging is limited to 5 watts, and users can adjust how much battery capacity is allocated to the keyboard through the Clicks companion app. While modest, the added power is intended as an emergency backup to prevent a phone from running out of charge.
The Clicks Power Keyboard is available for pre-order at $79 and is scheduled to begin shipping in the spring. After the pre-order period, the price will rise to $109, remaining below the cost of some of the company’s earlier, phone-specific keyboard cases.
