Chinese consumer electronics brand Haylou has introduced the Solar Lite 2, a low-priced smartwatch positioned as an everyday wearable with a focus on battery life and basic health features, according to product information published by the company.
The Solar Lite 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 by 466 pixels and is designed to appeal beyond sports users with a relatively minimalist and stylish appearance. The company markets the device as offering battery life of more than two weeks under typical use.

Haylou said the smartwatch can run for about 17 days on a single charge, a figure that exceeds many entry-level wearables in the same price category. The device is being sold through online marketplaces, including AliExpress, for under $40, with shipping included.
To keep costs down, the Solar Lite 2 does not include a built-in satellite positioning system. As a result, outdoor activities such as running rely on step count and estimated stride length to calculate distance, which may be less accurate than GPS-based tracking. The watch also offers heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking, though the company has not published independent validation data for these features.

The smartwatch supports smartphone notifications and can function as a Bluetooth remote for tasks such as triggering a phone camera. Haylou also said the device is rated as water-resistant up to a test pressure of 1 ATM, limiting its suitability for swimming or other water-based activities.
“With a bright AMOLED display and up to 17 days of battery life, the Solar Lite 2 is designed to deliver essential smartwatch functions at an accessible price point,” the company said in its product description.
