Images of Samsung Electronics’ upcoming Galaxy A57 smartphone have emerged online, offering an early look at the device’s design and revealing a new colour variant, following recent regulatory filings that outlined its core specifications.
China’s Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) has published real-world images of the Galaxy A57 after earlier documentation detailed its hardware. The filings suggest the successor to the Galaxy A56 will see only modest changes in specifications, with most differences expected to be incremental rather than transformative.
The newly released images show a design that closely resembles its predecessor, with the most noticeable change being a slightly reshaped and slimmer vertical camera module on the rear. “At first glance, there are hardly any differences,” the original article said, adding that the reduced camera thickness may reflect efforts to slim down the overall chassis.
The images do not clearly indicate whether Samsung has narrowed the display bezels compared with the 2025 model. However, the appearance of a purple colour option marks a visible update, as this finish was not offered on last year’s Galaxy A56. It remains unclear which additional colours Samsung plans to release.

Based on earlier certification details, the Galaxy A57 is expected to feature an updated Exynos 1680 processor, alongside a thinner and lighter body. The device could be unveiled later this year, potentially as part of a Galaxy A series launch that may precede Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S lineup.
