Samsung Electronics has introduced a special Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition smartphone that will be provided exclusively to athletes competing at the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, extending the company’s long-running partnership with the Games.
The device will be distributed to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from around 90 countries and is designed to support athletes during their stay in the Olympic Village and throughout competition. Samsung said the phone will also play a role in official ceremonies, with the Victory Selfie feature making its Winter Olympics debut and expanding to team sports for the first time.

“Athletes are at the heart of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and for nearly 30 years Samsung has supported them as a Worldwide Partner through meaningful mobile innovation,” Stephanie Choi, executive vice president and head of mobile marketing at Samsung’s mobile experience business, said in a statement.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition integrates Galaxy AI features with a redesigned edge-to-edge FlexWindow, enabling one-handed use. Key functions include a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel wide lens, AI-powered photo editing tools, real-time on-device language translation and personalized daily updates through Samsung’s Now Brief feature.

Samsung said the design reflects the identity of the Milano Cortina Games, featuring a signature blue glass finish inspired by Italian azure and a gold metal frame symbolizing podium achievement. The device also comes preloaded with Olympic-themed wallpapers, athlete-focused apps, a digital athlete card system and complimentary 100GB 5G eSIM connectivity to support communication and daily services during the Games.
