Amazfit has officially opened pre-orders for its new Helio Strap Pro fitness wearable in the United States, revealing a retail price of $199.99 ahead of its scheduled release on June 25.
The Helio Strap Pro was announced earlier this week without pricing details. While it costs significantly more than the original Helio Strap, Amazfit is positioning the new model as a more advanced fitness tracking solution that remains competitively priced compared with many mid-range smartwatches.
Dual-Sensor Design Focuses on Accuracy
Unlike traditional fitness bands, the Helio Strap Pro includes two separate sensor modules designed to improve workout tracking precision.
The package includes the Core Motion HR sensor and the Core Motion Waist sensor.
The Core Motion HR module is intended to be worn on the upper arm and combines heart rate monitoring with motion tracking capabilities. The second module, Core Motion Waist, can be attached around the waist using either a clip or a dedicated strap.
By collecting movement data from multiple body locations, Amazfit aims to provide more detailed workout analysis than conventional wrist-based fitness trackers.
More Than 60 Sports Modes
The Helio Strap Pro supports over 60 different sports and activity modes, allowing users to track a broad range of workouts and training routines.
Amazfit says the additional waist-mounted motion sensor enhances measurement accuracy during both strength training and cardiovascular exercise.
The sensor can also assess factors such as core stability and muscle strain, providing deeper insights into athletic performance and movement efficiency.
Comprehensive Health and Recovery Tracking
In addition to workout monitoring, the Helio Strap Pro includes many of the health and wellness features available on the standard Helio Strap.
Users can continuously monitor heart rate throughout the day and night, while sleep quality and recovery metrics are tracked automatically.
The wearable also calculates Amazfit’s HybridCharge Index, a proprietary training readiness metric designed to indicate current physical capacity on a scale from 0 to 100.
The score helps users understand whether their body is ready for intense exercise or may benefit from additional recovery time.
Competing With Mid-Range Smartwatches
At $199.99, the Helio Strap Pro costs roughly twice as much as the original Helio Strap, but remains less expensive than many fitness-focused smartwatches.
For example, devices such as the Garmin Instinct 3 retail for around $299, placing the Helio Strap Pro in a more affordable segment while offering a unique sensor-based approach to fitness tracking.
Rather than emphasizing smartwatch functions such as notifications and apps, Amazfit is targeting athletes and fitness enthusiasts seeking more accurate performance and recovery data.
Shipping Begins June 25
Pre-orders for the Amazfit Helio Strap Pro are now available in the United States, with shipments expected to begin on June 25.
The launch expands Amazfit’s portfolio of fitness-focused wearables and reflects growing demand for specialized health and performance tracking devices beyond traditional smartwatches.
With its dual-sensor design and emphasis on advanced training metrics, the Helio Strap Pro aims to offer athletes a new option for monitoring workouts, recovery and overall physical readiness.
