The appearance of the Samsung Galaxy A53 was seen last month. Now the specifications for the successor to the Galaxy A52 have been revealed on the GeekBench site after being tested. The phone has the code S5E8825. Samsung have on its new chipset, the Exynos 1200.
This SoC has 2 main cores with a speed of 2.40 GHz and 6 power efficient cores at 2.0 GHz. In addition, the Mali-G68 GPU is embedded.
Having 6GB of RAM and running Android 12 scored 690 on the single core test. While the multi-core test obtained 1,846.

These results are similar to those achieved by the Oppo Reno 6 5G powered by Dimensity 900. In the single-core test it got 698, while the multi-CoTR got 2,127.
When compared to its predecessor, the results of the Galaxy A53 are lower. In Geekbench testing, the Snapdragon 778G-powered Galaxy A52s scored 767 points on single-core and 2,768 on multi-core.
Previous leaks revealed that the Galaxy A53 will carry a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This cellphone is still using a Super AMOLED panel and implementing Infinity-O Display.

The Galaxy A53 will be made thinner with a thickness of 8.14~9.73 mm (including the bulge on the rear camera). Unfortunately this forced Samsung to eliminate the 3.5 mm audio jack like the one on the Galaxy A52.
This smartphone still has a fingerprint sensor on the screen. Similarly, Samsung makes the Galaxy A53 waterproof with IP68 certification. The battery still has a capacity of 5,000 mAh.
Although there is no news when the Galaxy A53 will be released, the production process has reportedly started. It could be that this phone will say hello in early 2020, as reported by the Sammobile page.
