Brazilian soccer athlete, Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior is getting serious about becoming a game streamer, because he will regularly stream exclusively on Facebook Gaming.
Reported by Telset from Engadget on Friday (12/17/2021), Neymar Jr has signed a deal to livestream exclusively on Facebook Gaming. The first broadcast is December 17 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), on Neymar Jr’s Facebook page.
The PSG forward plans to stream games several times per month and collaborate with other streamers on the Facebook-owned gaming platform.

Neymar’s presence as an exclusive streamer on Facebook Gaming is predicted to attract the attention of users because he is a football star who has 88 million Facebook followers from all over the world.
Unfortunately, the presence of Neymar on Facebook Gaming, is considered unable to shift the dominance of Twitch and YouTube as game streaming service providers. Maybe because Twitch and YouTube have been known for a long time, compared to Facebook Gaming which was only released last year.
Facebook Gaming, is a Facebook platform that creators can use to stream games. The application, which was released in April 2020, was deliberately created because the trend of game streaming is increasingly being carried out by gamers.

Neymar Jr is no stranger to the world of game streaming. Prior to joining Facebook Gaming, Neymar Jr often streamed on Twitch while playing Call of Duty, Counter-Strike and Fortnite. Even specifically in Fortnite, Neymar has become a new crossover character in Fortnite which was launched in May 2021.
Apart from Neymar, there are also several other soccer athletes who apparently like to stream games. For example, Mesut Ozil, who apparently likes to stream while playing the game Fortnite since 2018.
