Samsung’s upcoming , the has just been certified by the US federal Communications Commission (FCC). The phone has the model number SM-F936U and is listed to feature the Smart Transmit feature for better uplink.

While the FCC listing doesn’t reveal much about the device, it does suggest that the phone will come with support for all types of networks, from 2G to mmWave 5G. The FCC listing also reveals the device will come with support for the S Pen like the .

Reporting from Gizmochina (12/7), is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 along with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 on August 4. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this. If the certification scene, rumors, and leaks are anything to go by, there’s no doubt that launch is imminent.

In addition to the FCC certification, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 was recently spotted on Geekbench. Dummy cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 were put up for pre-order recently, further confirming that their launch is imminent.

The Z Fold 4 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm + Gen 1 processor paired with 12 GB of RAM. This phone will also come with 1 TB of , as well as support for a 4,400 mAh .

Previously there were rumors that the Fold 4 will have a less noticeable hinge fold when compared to the Fold 3. Apart from that, the setup will also be better when compared to its predecessor. It is hoped that Samsung will soon reveal details surrounding the launch of this foldable phone.
