Xiaomi has released the latest version of the 2020 Laser Projector 1S model. This new model comes with a response rate of 40 ms, so it can be used for gaming. The Xiaomi Laser Projector 1S 2022 is said to be able to project images up to 150 inches in great detail.
Xiaomi‘s latest projector has a 1080p resolution and is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI). It offers auto image enhancement, autofocus, and multiple operational modes. This device comes with a max brightness of 2,400 lumens, brighter than just 2,000 lumens on its predecessor.
Its image size projection is supported by its high compression ratio capability to transmit images. There is also a complete ALPD Laser Display technology to improve image and color quality. The Xiaomi Laser Projector 1S 2022 uses an AI image quality enhancement algorithm that supports 4K and 8K decoding.
The projector provides a fairly good sound output through its dual 10 watt internal speakers, capable of creating a 260-degree virtual soundstage. This device supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD sound technologies. There are several scene modes available including a low latency 40ms game mode.
Connectivity to the projector is possible via dual USB (2.0 and 3.0) and HDMI (eARC and 2.1) ports. Users can integrate the projector into the smart home ecosystem via the Mijia app. It allows users to control the projector via an app or using Xiao AI’s voice commands.
The Xiaomi Laser Projector 1S 2022 is priced at 5,999 yuan. The price of this new Xiaomi projector is around 60% cheaper than the 2020 model. Xiaomi expects greater acceptance for its new projector due to its affordability and features.
