A new Amazfit smartwatch appears to be in development after references to an “Active 3 Premium” model were обнаружены in the latest version of Zepp Health’s companion app, pointing to a possible expansion of the company’s Active lineup. The finding follows Zepp Health’s most recent wearable launch, the Amazfit Active Max, which was released in December 2025.
The upcoming model was identified in the code of Zepp app version 10.0.5 by the technology site Gadgets and Wearables. According to the report, “only the name of the product has been uncovered so far,” with no information revealed about hardware specifications, design changes or new features. Zepp Health has not confirmed the existence of the device.

The current Amazfit Active 2 Premium offers health tracking, GPS navigation, more than 160 workout modes and Zepp Pay contactless payments in select European markets. It features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass protection and includes both leather and silicone straps. It remains unclear whether the Active 3 Premium will introduce improvements seen in newer models, such as a larger battery or expanded storage.
Speculation has also been fueled by a recent Malaysian certification filing for an Amazfit smartwatch, though it is uncertain whether this relates to the Active 3 series or another rumored device, the T-Rex Ultra 2. The lack of clarity has left industry watchers guessing about Zepp Health’s broader product roadmap.

Looking at past release patterns, the Active 2 arrived roughly 15 months after the original Active model. If Zepp Health follows a similar timeline, the Active 3 and Active 3 Premium could be introduced around April or May 2026. For now, the company has provided no official comment on launch timing or product details.
