Chinese gaming hardware maker Ayaneo has released the first official teaser for its upcoming Ayaneo Phone, marking the company’s entry into the smartphone market. The announcement follows weeks of product reveals that included its AM03 mini-PC, signaling broader ambitions beyond handheld gaming devices.
Ayaneo first mentioned the smartphone in July during its Summer Strategy Sharing Session, describing it as “a mobile phone truly made for gamers.” Three months later, the company shared the first render of the Ayaneo Phone across its social media platforms, revealing a minimalist rear design that notably omits a conventional camera housing — a style similar to gaming-oriented models such as the RedMagic 11 Pro.
“The Ayaneo Phone is a mobile phone truly made for gamers,” the company reiterated in its teaser post, emphasizing its focus on performance and immersive gameplay rather than photography. The teaser image suggests the device will adopt a streamlined look, possibly to enhance comfort during extended gaming sessions.
While Ayaneo has not shared technical details, the company is expected to use a Qualcomm chipset, consistent with its reliance on the manufacturer’s processors for other high-end Android gaming products. No information has been disclosed yet regarding display specifications, cooling systems, or release dates.
Ayaneo said more details about the smartphone will be revealed “soon,” as the company continues to expand its ecosystem of gaming hardware. The Ayaneo Phone will compete with established gaming smartphones such as RedMagic, ASUS ROG Phone, and Black Shark, reflecting Ayaneo’s growing push to merge handheld gaming and mobile performance into a single platform.
