Brown & Brown has unveiled the next phase of its enterprise technology strategy, announcing plans to become an AI-first organization by deploying artificial intelligence across its operations.
The insurance broker will roll out Anthropic’s Claude AI assistant to approximately 23,000 employees and integrate AI into customer service, operations, technology and corporate workflows. The company will also deploy Claude Code to support AI-assisted software development.
Brown & Brown has selected Anthropic, McKinsey & Company and Accenture as strategic partners to help implement the initiative and establish governance for responsible enterprise-wide AI adoption.
The company said the expansion follows successful AI pilot projects and is designed to improve operational efficiency while supporting employees.
“Our teammates are Brown & Brown’s greatest differentiator, and we view AI as an enabler of their experience, specialization and judgment — not a replacement for it.”
“By responsibly implementing AI across our business, we can help teammates spend more time advising customers, building relationships and delivering the specialized solutions that set Brown & Brown apart.”
