Taiwan-based networking equipment maker D-Link Corp (2332.TW) has introduced two new Wi-Fi 7 routers, aiming to deliver faster, more reliable wireless connectivity for households and small businesses adapting to hybrid work, streaming, and smart home demands.
The AQUILA PRO AI M36 BE3600 Smart Mesh Router and the R36 BE3600 Smart Router feature dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with Multi-Link Operation, wider 160 MHz channels, and 4K-QAM modulation. The company said the devices are designed to offer higher speeds, lower latency, and greater efficiency compared with earlier-generation models.
Both routers come with 2.5G WAN and LAN ports for faster wired connections, AI-powered traffic management to reduce congestion, WPA3 encryption, and parental controls. Users can set up and manage the devices through the AQUILA PRO AI app.
The M36, designed for whole-home coverage, includes built-in omnidirectional antennas that provide 360-degree coverage and eliminate dead zones. The R36, meanwhile, is equipped with four external antennas, optimized for gaming, streaming, and integration with connected devices.
D-Link said the launch underscores its strategy to provide “secure, easy-to-manage, and future-ready networks,” positioning Wi-Fi 7 as the foundation for next-generation digital households and small businesses.
“Wi-Fi 7 solutions like these are engineered to bring significantly higher speeds and efficiency to everyday environments,” the company stated in its announcement.
