Delta Force, the popular first-person shooter released in December 2024, is set to expand its content with the launch of its sixth season, “War Ablaze,” on September 23.

The update will introduce a new playable operator, Landon Harrison, known in-game as Raptor. According to the developers, “he’s got what it takes to defend himself against the enemies who stand before him.” Raptor’s toolkit includes a drone capable of marking targets within a 90-meter radius, functioning as a remote-controlled bomb, along with EMP grenades to disable enemy electronics. Players will also gain access to trackers that reveal enemy footprints and issue warnings when targeted.

The new season will also feature the F-45A Fighter Jet, a vehicle that players can pilot during combat. A new map, called “The Fault,” will place teams in a mountainous city ravaged by war and will be available in the Warfare mode.

Additional weapons are being introduced, including the MK47 Assault Rifle and a Lever-Action Rifle, expanding the arsenal available to players.

While the update aims to keep engagement high, competition looms with the upcoming launch of Battlefield 6 on October 10. The additions may test whether Delta Force can sustain its popularity nearly a year after release.
