EA Sports on Wednesday unveiled a custom streaming and content studio developed with Travis Hunter, part of its GEN / EA SPORTS program that supports athletes’ ambitions on and off the field. The facility has been installed in Hunter’s Jacksonville home and is intended to highlight his personality and passion for gaming and content creation.
The studio combines professional-grade equipment with design elements that reflect Hunter’s journey, including displays of his awards, framed jerseys and lighting inspired by the Jacksonville Jaguars. EA said the project is part of its commitment to helping next-generation athletes build authentic connections with fans outside traditional sports settings.
Hunter, who has balanced his football career with a growing presence in streaming, described the studio as an opportunity to expand his creative reach. “Gaming and making content is just what I have been doing my whole life when I am not playing football,” he said.
The initiative is positioned as a way for athletes to connect with audiences beyond competition. EA Sports said it will continue to spotlight other players under the GEN program, including Endrick, Alyssa Thompson and Bianca Bustamante, showcasing their off-field interests.
The studio marks a broader shift in how sports organizations and partners are supporting athletes as multi-dimensional public figures, blending athletic careers with digital platforms that reach younger, global audiences.
