Wildflame Studio has revealed Eggspedition, a cooperative survival game that tasks players with recovering stolen dinosaur eggs while evading predators. The title, announced in the studio’s first trailer on September 8, is scheduled for release in 2025.
The 90-second trailer highlights the game’s jungle setting and horror-inspired tone, with shadowy environments, unsettling roars and glimpses of dinosaurs. While the footage suggests an atmospheric experience, it remains unclear whether the material represents gameplay or cinematic sequences.

“Recover stolen eggs while evading dinosaurs – that’s the premise of Eggspedition,” Wildflame said in its announcement. “This survival shooter drops players deep into the jungle under the grim rule: ‘No egg, no evac.’”
Designed for solo or cooperative play with up to four players, missions in Eggspedition are procedurally generated, with difficulty set before launch but no knowledge of layouts or threats. Players must work together, with some carrying eggs while others scout or provide cover. A PvP mode is also listed on Steam, though details remain limited.
Dinosaurs including velociraptors, pteranodons and tyrannosaurs will patrol different territories, guided by AI systems that avoid scripted behavior, making encounters unpredictable. Wildflame said the design is intended to maintain tension throughout each mission.
The game does not yet have a firm release date but is slated to arrive in 2025. Players can already add Eggspedition to their Steam wishlists.
