Huawei has just introduced several flagship products including a smart speaker called Huawei Sound Joy. This wireless speaker was co-designed with French audio technology company Devialet and comes in a compact cylindrical body that is quite portable.
The Sound Joy consists of 4 speaker units, with 20-watt full-range speakers, a 10-watt tweeter and two passive radiators. This speaker configuration is capable of shooting 79 dBA @ 2 m audio. Huawei equips the speaker with Bluetooth 5.2 support and codecs such as AAC and SBC. This speaker is IP67 certified for protection against dust and water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.
The Huawei Sound Joy battery has a capacity of 8800 mAh which promises up to 26 hours of playback time. This battery can be charged with a super-fast 40-watt charger and offers a full hour of music playback on just a 10-minute charge.

This new speaker also comes with quite advanced and intuitive features such as Shake to Pair, Touch to Phone to transfer tracks instantly, and distance-based auto-discovery. Sound Joy has a dedicated voice assistant to activate the smart voice assistant on the phone to compose messages, reminders, informational questions, and more.
This Bluetooth-based speaker measures 202 mm in height, 73 mm in diameter and weighs 680 grams. Most of the exterior is made of a specially woven fabric that offers sturdy protection for all outdoor activities.

Huawei Sound Joy is priced at 149 euros and is available in Obsidian Black and Spruce Green colors. Huawei has not revealed when the device will be available, but it is likely that the device will be available gradually from region to region.
