Some time recently, Samsung is rumored to be developing and releasing its latest chipset, the Exynos 2200, around February 2022. The Exynos 2200 itself is Samsung's flagship class chipset, which is confirmed to be used on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series which is present in the same month.

Samsung, through a short animated video, seems to confirm further that this latest flagship chipset will be more focused on gaming orientation. It is stated that the company is preparing a “small gift for gaming fans”, which reinforces the idea.

This short animated video presented by Samsung, with the title Exynos: Together with You, shows how this year's holiday season has forced a child to not be able to meet their friends due to the pandemic, but continue to interact and stay in touch via mobile games.

Chang Wan Kim as Project Manager for Samsung Electronics revealed in his official press release, that, “We always work hard to give admiration to our fans who are also game fans. So we started by designing our main character as a gamer. Although the character of this gamer is still young, we try to provide a reflection on today's gaming trends that are starting to move from consoles to mobile.”

The Exynos 2200 is expected to be a 4nm chipset using the latest CPU from ARM and GPU using AMD-EDNA2 based on Radeon Mobile. This chipset will likely use at least a Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710, and Cortex-A510. The AMD GPU that will be used on this chipset will certainly provide a boost to gaming performance on the smartphone that will carry it. This chipset is also said to have a modem that supports 5G, as well as an ISP of up to 200MP and support for 4K 120fps or 8K 30 fps video recording.
