Garmin has released beta version 13.24 for the Fenix 8, Fenix E, and Enduro 3 smartwatches, following the previous update (beta 13.22) launched in January. The latest version introduces several new features along with bug fixes, enhancing the performance and user experience for smartwatch users.
According to Garmin, the update includes six key additions, such as haptic vibrations when editing Strength Sets, as well as new HARP calculations and data screens. Additionally, Jumpmaster users will benefit from the ability to set wind speed and direction for skydiving. The update also brings low-brightness widget glance backgrounds and introduces temperature data fields for the Skate activity.
Garmin has also expanded support for predictive text on the smartwatch’s QWERTY keyboard. It is now available for French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch languages. Alongside these improvements, the update addresses several bugs, including issues with bike trainer resistance, Wi-Fi network saving, and HIIT activity timers. Additionally, Garmin resolved a problem with duplicate iOS notifications and ensured that passcode digits no longer get cut off on solar models.
The beta version 13.24 is now available for the Fenix 8 AMOLED, Fenix 8 Solar, Enduro 3, and Fenix E smartwatches. To install the update, users can navigate to Menu > System > Software Update > Check for updates. The stable release for these devices is yet to be confirmed.
As Garmin noted, “The new features and fixes in this beta release aim to further enhance the experience for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes alike.”
