Garmin has released a new beta update for its Instinct 3 series smartwatches, aiming to resolve connectivity issues with inReach devices.

The software, identified as version 10.30, is being distributed over the air (OTA) to beta testers using the Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E models.

According to details posted on Garmin’s forum, the update addresses a problem experienced by some users with inReach Messenger Plus devices. This builds on fixes from the previous beta version 10.26, which targeted an issue where inReach devices were not displaying as connected in their designated widget.

The rollout comes around a week after the earlier release, with the new update now automatically delivered through Garmin Connect when paired via Bluetooth.

While the beta is available to testers, Garmin has not indicated when the 10.xx software line will be finalized and pushed as a stable version for all Instinct 3 owners.
