Google has opened pre-orders for its latest mid-range smartphone, the Google Pixel 10a, expanding the Pixel 10 lineup several months after unveiling its flagship models.
The company introduced the Google Pixel 10, Google Pixel 10 Pro, Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold last August. While most of the series became available shortly after launch, the foldable variant did not begin shipping until early October. The Pixel 10a is expected to be the final addition to the series.

The new handset shares several specifications with last year’s Google Pixel 9a. It retains a 6.3-inch Actua display, a 5,100 mAh battery and Google’s Tensor G4 chipset. Camera hardware also remains unchanged, with a 13-megapixel front-facing lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 48-megapixel main sensor.
However, the Pixel 10a introduces incremental upgrades. The device weighs 183 grams, approximately 3 grams lighter than its predecessor, and features Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, replacing the Gorilla Glass 3 used previously. Google said display brightness has increased by 11%, reaching up to 2,000 nits at full-screen brightness and 3,000 nits under peak conditions. New software features, including Camera Coach, Macro Focus and Auto Best Take, are also included.

The Pixel 10a starts at $499, £499 and €549 for the 128 GB version and is available in Berry, Fog, Lavender and Obsidian color options. A 256 GB model is priced at $599, £599 and €649. Pre-order incentives vary by market, with trade-in bonuses offered globally and additional promotional bundles in select regions. Google said it will begin shipping the device on March 5, noting that “Google will start delivering pre-orders on March 5.”
