Accessory maker Telesin has introduced a dedicated camera kit for the Honor Magic8 Pro, seeking to expand the device’s photography capabilities and improve handling. Further details, including pricing and availability, are expected to be announced at MWC 2026 in early March.
The Honor Magic8 Pro is positioned as a camera-focused flagship, featuring a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.6 aperture and large sensor. While Honor offers a specialized camera kit for its higher-end Magic8 RSR Porsche Design variant, the company does not provide an equivalent accessory for the standard Magic8 Pro. Telesin said its kit is designed to bridge that gap in collaboration with Honor.

The accessory package consists of three main components. A protective case allows users to attach standard 67mm polarizing or neutral density filters directly over the rear triple-camera system. The case also includes a mounting point for a wrist strap and a magnetic ring for connecting a detachable camera grip.
The grip is designed to enable one-handed shooting and includes a prominent red shutter button, a zoom control slider and additional buttons for video recording, power and customizable functions. A front-facing dial allows users to adjust exposure settings or switch filters. As noted in the original description, the kit is “intended to turn the smartphone into a more ergonomic as well as more versatile camera.”

The third component is a 200mm teleconverter lens, aimed at extending the phone’s zoom capabilities. Telesin products are typically distributed in Europe, though full hardware specifications and market availability for the Magic8 Pro kit are expected to be confirmed at the Barcelona trade show.
