Huawei has introduced the Nova 14 Vitality Edition, a mid-range smartphone designed to deliver flagship-level camera and display performance at an affordable price.

The device serves as a lower-cost variant of the Nova 14, with the main difference being the omission of a telephoto lens. Measuring 7.2 millimeters thick and weighing 191 grams, the model remains slim and lightweight, though its IP65 rating indicates limited water resistance.

The rear camera system features a 50-megapixel main lens with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that includes macro functionality. Dual LED flashes and a color temperature sensor support more accurate imaging. On the front, the smartphone houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera using a 1/2.5-inch sensor.

Huawei equipped the Nova 14 Vitality Edition with a 6.7-inch OLED display offering a 2,412 x 1,084 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel supports a 2,160 Hz PWM dimming frequency, designed to minimize flicker and reduce eye strain. Power is supplied by a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 66 W fast charging through USB-C. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC and L2HC codec support.

The smartphone will debut in China in two versions: a 256 GB model priced at 2,149 yuan ($302) and a 512 GB variant at 2,449 yuan ($344). Huawei has not confirmed whether the Nova 14 Vitality Edition will be released internationally.
