iQOO has launched its new iQOO 15 smartphone in India, marking the global expansion of the company’s latest gaming-focused device. The handset, already available in China, is priced from INR 72,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant and INR 79,999 for the 16 GB + 512 GB model, with temporary launch offers reducing effective prices for both configurations. Sales begin December 1 through Amazon and authorized retailers.

The device features Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with iQOO’s Q3 computing chip, up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, and runs Android 16-based Origin OS. The original article described the model as “a direct rival to the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra,” highlighting its flagship positioning in the performance segment.

The display is a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel supporting a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1,440p resolution, peak brightness of 6,000 nits, and Dolby Vision. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is integrated within the screen. A triple 50 MP camera setup sits on the rear, including wide, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto lenses.

Powering the device is a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100 W wired charging and 40 W wireless charging. According to the original release, the phone promises “five Android updates and seven years of security updates,” representing a shift toward extended software support in the Android flagship space.

The iQOO 15 will launch next in Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Russia between November 28 and December 9. The company continues to market the series toward mobile gamers with features such as stereo speakers, monster halo lights, an IR blaster, IP68/IP69 durability ratings, NFC connectivity, and eSIM support.
