Lucid Group has introduced a more affordable version of its Gravity electric SUV as part of an effort to broaden its presence in the premium EV segment. The new Gravity Touring starts at $79,990, reducing the entry point by $15,000 compared with the original Grand Touring model. The company framed the move as a way to offer more choice while preserving the core attributes of the Gravity line.
Powered by Lucid’s 89 kWh “Long Range” battery, the Touring trim shares its energy pack with the Air Touring sedan. Lucid continues to emphasise efficiency as a key asset, highlighting its focus on extracting maximum mileage from comparatively smaller battery capacities.
The Gravity Touring is rated for 337 miles of range and features a 560 HP dual-motor AWD system capable of accelerating from 0–60 mph in about four seconds. It sits below Tesla’s Model X on price while offering competitive performance and benefits from Lucid’s 1000V charging architecture, which can add up to 200 miles of range in roughly 15 minutes when connected to a V4 Supercharger via its native NACS port.
The interior retains many of the premium elements found in higher Gravity trims, including a 34-inch 6K OLED display, 18-way massaging front seats, multiple leather choices, a premium audio system and a selection of 100W USB-C and 120V outlets. Lucid positions these features as part of its effort to maintain a consistent luxury experience across its vehicles.

A seven-seat configuration is available, with fold-flat second- and third-row seating, an 8.1 cubic-foot front trunk and up to 120 cubic feet of rear cargo space. Buyers can choose from five wheel designs, six exterior colours and five interior themes, rounding out a wide range of customisation options as the Gravity line expands.
