Lucid Motors has begun rolling out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support for its Lucid Gravity through an over-the-air update included in Lucid UX 3.5.

The update starts in North America this week, with availability for Europe and the Middle East expected later this month, the company said.

Once installed, Gravity owners can connect smartphones via wireless or USB, enabling access to apps such as navigation, music, messaging and calls through the vehicle’s infotainment display.

“Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are two of the most sought-after features by our customers,” said Emad Dlala. “We are now providing a seamless connection between mobile devices and the Lucid Gravity.”

The feature arrives months after some early owners criticized the absence of smartphone mirroring, which has become common across many modern vehicles.

Lucid previously added the same functionality to the Lucid Air through a free OTA update in 2023.

Earlier this year, interim CEO Marc Winterhoff said the company had reorganized parts of its software team following launch-related software challenges and expected most issues to be resolved by March 2026.
