Minix has officially introduced the NUC150, a compact and budget-friendly mini PC designed to cater to users looking for efficient performance in a small form factor. Measuring just 117 x 111 x 36 mm, the NUC150 is well-suited for space-constrained environments or minimalist workstations.
Buyers can configure the NUC150 with either an Intel N150 or the more capable Intel Core 3 N355, both from Intel’s Twin Lake lineup.
The mini PC supports up to 16 GB of RAM and 4 TB of PCIe 3.0 SSD storage, split across one M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0×2 slot and one 2242 PCIe 3.0×1 slot.
Connectivity is one of the highlights of the system. The NUC150 includes three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports (one with DisplayPort 1.4 and power delivery), two HDMI ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. On the wireless side, it offers WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Priced from $279, the starting configuration is expected to come with the Intel N150 processor. The Core 3 N355 variant is anticipated to carry a slightly higher price tag.
While the official launch date has not been confirmed, Minix’s website indicates that the NUC150 will be “available soon.”
