Nintendo has expanded its mobile ecosystem with the launch of the Nintendo Store app, now available on iOS and Android. The new platform enables users to buy games, consoles, and accessories directly from the company, while also offering a range of community and tracking features.
The application provides full access to the My Nintendo Store, allowing customers to order products such as the Nintendo Switch 2, physical game cartridges, and official accessories. It also integrates the company’s My Nintendo rewards system, where buyers earn points from each purchase that can be exchanged for collectible merchandise like posters or magnets. Some game bundles include exclusive bonuses, such as themed keychains.

Beyond shopping, the app can send notifications when new items become available or when existing products go on sale. It also offers registration options for official Nintendo events.
One of the key additions is a playtime history tracker, which lets users review how long they have played various titles across multiple generations of Nintendo consoles. The tracker includes data from the Switch and Switch 2, and, if linked to the same account, legacy data from the 3DS and Wii U. While Nintendo discontinued playtime data collection for older consoles in February 2020, the app still displays activity recorded before that date.
The tracker provides detailed insights into daily playtime, offering long-time Nintendo fans a way to view their historical engagement across platforms.
