Nubia is preparing to release its latest flagship smartphone, the Z80 Ultra, to global markets just days after its launch in China. The company confirmed that the device, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 7,200 mAh battery, will be available internationally starting in early December.
The rollout follows the pattern set by ZTE’s other subsidiary, RedMagic, which recently introduced the RedMagic 11 Pro globally shortly after its domestic launch. Nubia’s approach signals an accelerated strategy to bring its high-end devices to wider audiences without long regional delays.
The Nubia Z80 Ultra’s global launch is scheduled for November 6, with general sales beginning on December 3. Ahead of the release, Nubia is offering promotional incentives such as discount coupons worth up to $30, along with accessories like chargers and protective cases for customers who pre-order. The company has also announced a giveaway campaign featuring prizes including the Z80 Ultra itself, a Retro Kit, and the Game Pad 2 accessory.
According to Nubia, the international model will mirror the Chinese version, maintaining its premium specifications and design features. This includes the flagship Qualcomm chipset, expansive battery, and display technology aimed at competing with top-tier Android devices.
A Nubia representative stated that the brand aims to strengthen its position in the premium smartphone market through faster global availability and competitive launch offers, reflecting growing confidence in its international demand.
