Oppo has unveiled the Oppo Pad 5, a mid-range tablet that aims to deliver strong performance at a competitive price, debuting alongside the company’s Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones. The device features a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, a 3K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 10,420mAh battery, with prices starting at about $365.
“Oppo is committed to making high-performance devices more accessible to a broader audience,” the company said during the launch. The tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 3000 x 2120 resolution, and up to 900 nits of brightness. It supports 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, targeting both entertainment and productivity users.
The Pad 5 is powered by up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, housed within an aluminum chassis measuring just 0.24 inches thick. The device includes 8MP cameras on both the front and rear, and supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5 with advanced audio codecs such as Sony LDAC, Qualcomm aptX HD, and LHDC 5.0. Its USB-C port allows 67W fast charging and 5Gbps data transfer.
To enhance productivity, Oppo is offering optional accessories including the Pencil 2 Pro stylus and a keyboard case with a built-in trackpad. The company says the large battery can deliver extended usage for work or entertainment while maintaining fast recharging capability.
The Oppo Pad 5 is currently available only in China, with the top model priced at around $505. Oppo is expected to reveal details on an international release during its European event on October 28.
