Samsung Electronics said it will introduce a redesigned Galaxy camera experience powered by artificial intelligence, promising streamlined tools for capturing, editing and sharing content directly from Galaxy smartphones.

In a press release previewing its upcoming launch, the company described the update as “the next evolution of the Galaxy camera: an end-to-end experience with the brightest Galaxy camera system ever as the foundation.” Samsung said the new approach is intended to reduce reliance on third-party apps and complex editing software by integrating advanced features into a single platform.

According to the company, users will be able to perform tasks such as transforming daylight photos into nighttime scenes, restoring missing portions of objects in images and combining multiple photos into a single composition using natural language prompts. Samsung said capabilities that once required “professional skills or hours of editing” can now be completed in minutes directly on a Galaxy device.

Samsung added that the latest Galaxy AI system unifies image capture, enhancement and sharing in what it described as an intuitive workflow. The company said the goal is to eliminate the need to switch between apps, allowing creativity to feel “faster, simpler and more natural,” while supporting features such as low-light photography, cinematic video creation and night-sky tracking.
