Luna has unveiled its second-generation smart ring at IFA 2025, claiming it delivers one of the longest-lasting batteries on the market along with advanced health-tracking features.
The Luna 2.0 ring is advertised with a battery life of up to 21 days on a single charge, or as much as 30 days when paired with its Surge Charger case. The company said the wearable is also equipped with one of the best-trained artificial intelligence systems for monitoring sleep and stress.
The device runs on the company’s LifeOS platform, which analyzes vital signs such as skin temperature, blood oxygen, heart rate and pulse oximetry. The system is designed to adapt to the wearer’s “circadian alignment” and generate personalized insights through an AI voice coach. “LifeOS is built to decode how the world around you affects your physical and mental health,” Luna said in its announcement.
Features include detailed sleep analysis with metrics like latency, efficiency, respiratory performance and circadian rhythm alignment. The ring also supports predictive fertility tracking as part of its broader health and activity monitoring functions.
Unlike some competing devices from Ultrahuman and Oura, Luna 2.0 does not require a subscription. The company said health data is stored securely and will not be shared without “explicit consent, in accordance with global data protection standards.”
The smart ring is made from PVD-coated titanium with 5ATM water resistance and is available in rose gold, yellow gold, silver, and black finishes. Weighing 3.5 grams, it is slightly heavier than the Ultrahuman Ring Air at 2.5 grams.
