Anker has launched the Soundcore C50i open-ear wireless earbuds in the United States, offering a lighter design and several technical upgrades over last year’s Soundcore C40i. The new model adopts a “Flexible Open-Ring Design,” which Anker says provides “a more secure and comfortable fit” for extended wear while keeping users aware of their surroundings. Each earbud weighs 5.5 grams, slightly less than the previous version.

The Soundcore C50i supports LDAC for high-resolution audio and Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint connectivity. It retains 12 mm drivers with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range but is tuned for deeper bass. The earbuds also feature AI-assisted calls and a new live translation function that can handle up to 100 languages. Anker says these improvements are meant to “bring premium sound and smart functionality together in a lightweight format.”

NOW AVAILABLE: Soundcore recently launched a new set of open-ear earbuds!

Soundcore's C50i is available for $69.99 (currently just $55.99) in the US.

In addition to the current Black color, a White option should be coming soon.

Durability has been enhanced with an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, an upgrade from the IPX4 rating on the C40i. The earbuds include a physical control button and a USB-C charging port. Battery life now extends to seven hours on a single charge and up to 28 hours when used with the charging case.

The C50i is available for $69.99 through Amazon and Anker’s official website, though Prime members can purchase it at a discounted launch price of $55.99. The company noted that despite its lower price, the model includes “notable performance and comfort enhancements” compared to its predecessor.

With these updates, Anker continues expanding its open-ear audio lineup, targeting users who value comfort, situational awareness, and extended playback time. The Soundcore C50i is now available across major U.S. retail channels.
